Winter Break Day Camp gives children 3 days to explore and play. In addition to snowshoeing and learning winter survival skills, like building a snow shelter or lighting a winter fire, you'll get to meet our sled dogs and draft horses! Dec. 27-29, 2016

Positive Energy's day camps offer small group size (maximum of 12 participants), experienced professional staff and youth sized equipment. In addition to high quality instruction and equipment, we offer a supportive environment where participants feel safe to try new skills and meet new friends. Camp activities are directed by the interests of campers, and include opportunities for rock climbing, kayaking, paddleboarding, hiking, meeting the draft horses and sled dogs, swimming and more, in addition to activities during camp weeks focused on climbing, kayaking and draft horses. Each week of camp ends with a picnic and camper presentation at Enger Park.
Cancellation Policy: Camp fees are fully refundable if a replacement is available from a waiting list AND the request is made 14 days prior to the start of camp. We are not able to offer refunds for cancellations with less than 14 days notice.
Day camps have a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 12 participants. Program fees include transportation, equipment and instruction. Bring a bag lunch, water bottles, sunscreen and rain gear. The assumption of risk form, health information and Positive Energy's behavior policy are part of the online registration process. Upon registering, you will receive a confirmation e-mail that includes a detailed clothing/packing list for your reference.
Transportation: Meet at Marshall School Parking Lot, 1215 Rice Lake Road, Duluth, at 8:30 am. Pick up students at 4:30 pm. Program locations at various Duluth sites, details are provided inn your registration packet.
Custom Camps and Activities: Positive Energy Outdoors also creates custom camps or activities for groups of 6 or more. For camps, youth groups and sports teams, we provide high quality rock climbing and inland lake and Lake Superior kayak instruction, team building, a portable climbing wall and orienteering experiences to complement your trip to Duluth or existing camp program. We can also bring the climbing wall to your school, church or event. All ages and abilities are welcome.
Scholarships: Positive Energy offers partial scholarships (up to $150) for families who qualify for free or reduced lunch.
