Inland Lake and Lake Superior Kayaking

We offer personalized, small group inland lake and Lake Superior kayak skills instruction and tours at our private waterfront on Fredenburg Lake just north of Duluth and on the North Shore of Lake Superior.

Kayak skills instruction and tours take place 7 days a week on Fredenburg/Island Lakes, in Duluth, on the St. Louis River and Park Point and on Lake Superior at Burlington Bay in Two Harbors, at Split Rock Lighthouse State Park and at Tettegouche State Park near Silver Bay.  Kayak tours run from mid-May through October.  Call about conditions if you are in the area at the beginning or end o the season.  Minimum age for Lake Superior kayaking is 8.  There is no minimum age for inland lake kayaking.

Lake Superior kayak tours begin at 9 a.m., the calmest part of the day on the big lake.  Inland lake kayak skills instruction and tours are available at 9 a.m. or 1 p.m.  We are the only kayak tour provider in the region to offer youth-sized kayaks for paddlers under 100 pounds.

Experience, for yourself, the scenic and calm arm water of the lakes or glide past ocean-going ships, historic lighthouses, stunning sea cliffs and abundant wildlife, including bald eagles and falcons, on the North Shore of Lake Superior!
