Inland Lake and Lake Superior Kayaking

We know you want to make memories in the outdoors but you wonder if everyone, especially the kids, will have fun.  Each year, Positive Energy Outdoors helps hundreds of people try new outdoor activities.  Our beginner-friendly Kayak Tours introduce your group--regardless of ability or age--to kayaking. You’ll have a blast paddling on Fredenberg Lake or Lake Superior. Get started in 3 easy steps!

1. Choose the date and time for your Kayak Tour and book online or call for more information: 218.391.0147.

2. Read the confirmation e-mail.  You'll receive directions to the paddling location, a detailed list of what to bring and wear, and the assumption of risk form.

3. Meet Positive Energy Outdoors' staff at the lake.  Enjoy beginner-friendly instruction in stable kayaks, including kid-sized kayaks. You'll start with a thorough land-based introduction to kayaking before you head out on the lake. On the water, look for wildlife as you take advantage of unforgettable photo opportunities and make memories you'll talk about for years to come.

You will:

Have fun without screens.

Gain confidence.

Make lifetime memories.

No previous kayaking experience is necessary. The Family Kayak Tour is perfect for ages 4 and older. Lake Superior Tours are good for ages 10 and older. You do not have to know how to swim to participate. PEO provides all equipment and instruction. Directions and a list of what to bring and wear is provided in the confirmation e-mail.
