Interested in improving your kayaking skills or would like to rent a kayak for inland lake use? Join us on beautiful Fredenberg Lake for an inland lake kayak skills course!

You’ll get an overview and introduction to kayak designs and types and learn proper kayak outfitting, sizing and foot pedal adjustment, as well as basic paddle strokes and technique for efficient paddling. You’ll also learn how to enter and exit the kayak from the shore or a dock. Participants also gain rescue skills, including the wet exit, solo and assisted rescues and braces.

Our inland lake kayak skills course is appropriate for children and adults, and is a requirement for our inland lake kayak rentals. Let’s get you out on the water!
